When a group of friends in a college dorm in the rich, suburban enclave of San Diego decide to start a band, they have no idea that their lives will soon officially officially blow up. The journey from ragu rancheras from the balconies of high rises, to Mexican MTV hits with blasting guitars and hard-talking lead singers is anything but ordinary...until they lose everything. But when one member returns from Europe and the band starts playing again, it's impossible for them not to get caught up in the hype and excitement of it all once more. Teaming up with a singer and guitarist who were once the toast of the San Diego music scene, they realize that there is no turning back. They form the band again, and get ready to take on the world. The only problem is that the old high's are now low's. The police start to hunt them, and they can't even sell out anymore. Then Bunny Rabies, the second lead singer disappears.
