Fkk Kinder 13 by John Halliday Fkk Kinder 13: The story of a German couple who decided that the best way to teach their children to love and respect nature was by making their own family den in the woods. The two parents, known only as the Hans-Hohoffs, were part of a group of like-minded people who founded an intentional community called FreiKinder (Free Children) with around 2,000 children in 2009. Fkk Kinder 13 is meant to be about parents who are connected with nature and have gone beyond attempting to have control over what goes on in their children’s lives. For this reason, the book is about freeing children; freeing their spirits and freeing the way they choose to live their lives. The Fkk Kinder 13 story may be shocking to some but this project was not meant to shock people, it was meant to inspire them. The Hans-Hohoffs wanted to show people that they can raise children in a natural environment without forcing them down paths or treating them like possessions. This book is also about the power of love, which is perhaps illustrated best by the kind of parenting that occurs in Fkk Kinder 13. This story of a family that loves their children and takes active steps to ensure that they can feel connected to nature is a message that all parents should take to heart. This grounded book is an illustrated diary of the life on the Fkk Kinder 13 Family Farm in Germany. The book starts with a short section about the story of the farm itself. The next section details the daily lives of the Hans-Hohoffs family members from birth on up until adulthood. The third part of this work is a feature article written by John Halliday about his visit there and what he learned while he was there. All of the illustrations in this book were done by the Hans-Hohoffs. They wanted to illustrate a realistic portrayal of a German family.
